    Senior .NET Developer Needed

    Company offers :  Relocation(pack&ship, misc costs gas, food, lodging), Temporary housing(90 days), assistance on closing costs of an existing home. Extremely good benefits and a future with a growing "Green Technology" leader in the industry. 

    Salary:  D.O.E. - Total comp range with bonus will be $90,000-$110,000


    Job Summary: 

    The Information Systems team is looking for a talented and flexible senior-level .NET programmer to help achieve our ambitious goals.  Over the next few months, the team will deliver new tools for Business Intelligence, Supply Chain Management, Lab Information Management Systems and Manufacturing Execution Systems.  This Programmer will assist with these and other projects as needed, performing functions such as application configuration, development of interfaces and data conversion programs and program development in web or client-server environments.  The successful candidate will have the ability to contribute to projects for any functional area of the company.

     

    Essential Functions: 

    ·         Elicit and document user requirements. 

    ·         Assist with selection, implementation and support of purchased software, and/or the design, implementation and support of custom developed systems that meet end user requirements.

    ·         Design and program efficient and accurate integrations and interfaces.

    ·         Manage multiple priorities. Negotiate and schedule deliverables with end users.

    ·         Develop, maintain and provide end user support for assigned applications.  Maintain system availability per service level agreement(s).

    ·         Client side development: Proficient in client-side development technologies for dynamic web applications. Required: JavaScript, CSS, HTML, DHTML, and .Net server controls.

    ·         Middle tier application development: VB.Net, .Net framework 1.1, 2.0. 3.0, ADO, Web Services, design patterns, familiar with various persistence management options(data transfer objects and object de/serialization)

    ·         Data Tier development: SQL Server 2000, 2005. Database programming, stored procedures, complex queries, data extract, transform, and load, DTS, and SSIS.

    ·         Familiar with database optimization and writing efficient SQL. Will work with Corporate DBA to ensure design meets standards.

    ·         Provide training & documentation for IS  staff and functional users.

     

    Other Responsibilities: 

    ·         Follow corporate standards for development processes, tools, and platforms.

    ·         Actively participate in Information Systems team meetings within primary site and remote sites.

    ·         Participate in the selection of IS architecture and tools.

    ·         Collaborate with IS Operations team on system management, testing and deployment.

    ·         Provide on-call support as required.

    ·         Represent Information Systems function to all customers in a positive and professional manner.

    ·         Stay apprised of emerging web trends and technologies and make recommendations for their use at REC Silicon/

    ·         Other tasks as needed to meet department and company goals and objectives.

     

     

    Qualifications:  

    ·         B.S. in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems.

    ·         Minimum 3 years of experience through coursework and professional projects in design and programming of web applications using HTML, JavaScript, Active Server Pages and ASP.NET is required. 

    ·         Experience with Java or Cold Fusion is a plus.

    ·         Knowledge of database management systems required.  SQL server experience desired.

    ·         Experience with web site design is required.

    ·         Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

    ·         Demonstrated ability to achieve results with strong organizational skills.

    Other:

    ·         Ability to work with diverse workforce (ethnicity, language and education levels) and with employees in all levels of responsibility.

    ·         Occasional travel to other site locations, training seminars, etc.

    ·         Flexible hours to support business process requirements in international time zones.
